Instead of masking symptoms, our conditioners use beneficial bacteria and enzymes to digest the muck, excess nutrients and organic matter that feed algae and weeds. Treating that root cause is why water tends to get clearer over the season rather than needing constant treatment.

Our simple routine is Renew, Revive and Remove. Renew conditions the water with beneficial bacteria and enzymes; Revive adds aeration to keep oxygen and the beneficial biology working; Remove clears any stubborn surface growth by raking rather than killing it. Most ponds do best with all three.

The natural way to clear it is to remove that food source: beneficial bacteria and enzymes compete for and digest those nutrients, which helps starve algae over time. Pairing that with aeration, and, if you like, a natural dye to shade the water, works even better.

Algaecides and herbicides kill growth and leave the dead matter behind, which breaks down and feeds the next bloom. Our conditioner works biologically to reduce the nutrients that fuel algae in the first place, so results build over time instead of resetting after every treatment.

Yes. The beneficial bacteria and enzymes are designed to break down the organic bottom build-up, the sludge and nutrients, that cause murky water and odour.

If a treatment only kills the algae you can see, the nutrients that caused it are still there, so it regrows. Reducing those nutrients biologically, keeping the water oxygenated with aeration, and limiting sunlight with a natural dye all help break that cycle.

Dye is highly concentrated, so handle it carefully during application and follow the label. The concentrate can stain skin, clothing and hard surfaces. Once it disperses through the pond it dilutes quickly. For specific swim or re-entry timing, follow the guidance on your product label.

Still water stratifies and loses oxygen, which lets muck and nutrients accumulate. Aeration keeps the water moving and oxygenated, supports fish and beneficial bacteria, and helps prevent oxygen-depletion problems like winter fish kill.

In cold climates, ice can seal a pond and cut off the oxygen exchange fish and biology depend on, which is what leads to winter fish kill. Aeration can help maintain oxygen and keep an opening in the ice. Winter aeration should be set up correctly for your site, with the appropriate freeze-control accessories, so ask us about the right configuration.
